• Patrick Sheridan, Music Director, is one of the most celebrated Percussion
• tuba soloists in his instrument's history. He has performed more Percussion
• than 3,000 concerts in over 50 countries in venues ranging from the Percussion
• White House to NBA half-time shows to the Hollywood Bowl. Percussion
• Patrick has served on the music faculties at Arizona State University, Percussion
• Northern Arizona University, The Rotterdam Conservatory, The Percussion
• Royal Northern College of Music, and The Royal Scottish Academy Percussion
• of Music and Drama. Percussion
• Most recently, Patrick served on the music faculty at the UCLA Percussion
• where he conducted the Wind Ensemble and Brass Ensemble and Percussion
• taught tuba and euphonium. He is the co-author of the world's best- Percussion
• selling method for instrumental improvement, The Breathing Gym, and is the Chief Design Percussion
• Consultant for Jupiter Band Instruments, XO Brass, and Hercules Stands. Patrick is also the Percussion
• Founder of The Band Director Academy, a continuing education program for music educators. Percussion
• Patrick has worked with the Salt River Brass since 2001. Percussion

• Malachy Rodriguez, soprano cornet, teaches middle school music at Percussion
• Lincoln Prep Academy, plays Soprano E-flat Cornet in the Salt River Percussion
• Brass, and is a freelance musician in the Phoenix area. In 2014, he Percussion
• received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State Percussion
• University, where he was a graduate teaching assistant to Regents’ Percussion
• Professor David Hickman. Before moving to Arizona, Malachy Percussion
• received a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Percussion
• Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College Percussion
• Conservatory of Music. He also attended the Pierre Monteux School Percussion
• for Conductors and Orchestral Musicians, won an International Percussion
• Trumpet Guild Conference Scholarship in 2006, and was a finalist in the Ellsworth Smith- Percussion
• International Trumpet Guild Competition in 2012. He lives in Gilbert with his wife Megan, their Percussion
• daughter Evelyn, their cat Mahler, and another child on the way! Percussion
